Model United Nations Summer School

The American Center invites you to the Model United Nations Summer School. If you are interested in the model movement and want to practice your skills under the guidance of experienced MUN organizers from Moscow State University and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, register to attend the School today.

The participants of the School will learn the mechanisms and procedures of the United Nations and discover different strategies for becoming successful at the negotiating table. This MUN Summer School is a unique opportunity for beginners in the MUN world to get a good understanding of MUN before taking part in a real model.

Who are our couches?

Alina Vernigora is a student of Lomonosov Moscow State University School of World Politics. Former Chief Editor of the MSUMUN Times newspaper and intern at United Nations Information Center in Moscow, she currently holds a position of Assistant Committee Management Coordinator.

Konstantin Shatunovskiy-Burnod is a bachelor in international relations and international law. A graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Konstantin completed an internship at the Department for International Organizations of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He is a member of the International Law Association (Russian branch).

Led by Torgom Zatikian, YEAR Program Alumnus, an intern at the American Center. Torgom is a student of National Research Saratov State University majoring in International Relations. In 2018-2019 he studied at American University in Washington, D.C. He interned at Eurasia Foundation for the US-Russia Social Expertise Exchange (SEE).
