#SportsDiplomacy: the U.S. Department of State’s Sports Diplomacy Division launched the GET FIT series — the newest virtual outreach program to engage the global community online. GET FIT is a weekly, 30-minute interactive session featuring professional, Olympic, and Paralympic athletes and coaches who have served as U.S. Department of State Sports Envoys around the world. Promoting messages of inclusion, resilience, entrepreneurship, and women’s empowerment.

Today we are rebroadcasting a conversation and workout featuring Tony Sanneh—U.S. Soccer champion and founder of The Sanneh Foundation. Tony will share his U.S. Department of State Sports Diplomacy experiences in a record-breaking 11 countries abroad as well as describe his community outreach initiatives at home—especially his foundation’s support of Minnesota families during the age of COVID-19.

Then, Tony will lead an in-home training with some of his favorite soccer skills and drills. Get out your soccer ball, and if you don’t have one…no sweat as you can still take part! Come ready to move your body and be inspired!
