Kate Quinn is a native of Southern California who has written eight historical novels from periods spanning the Roman Empire to the 20th century. Her latest novel, The Huntress (2019), depicts characters based from actual Soviet female pilots belonging to the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, known later as the 46th “Taman” Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment of the Soviet Air Forces.

Kate will describe her research process for the book and will speak about her depiction of the Soviet air pilots and her own successful writing career.
