Ruslan Garipov is an Adjunct Professor at American University School of International Service. He previously worked at Kazan Federal University Law School as Associate Professor (2011-2019) and at the Woodrow Wilson Center as Fellow with the Polar Institute (2018-2019), where he researched the Arctic Sustainable Development and Indigenous Peoples’ Rights. He earned his JD and PhD in International Law from Kazan State University and was selected as a Fulbright scholar in 2007.
The program will be moderated by Louis Crishock, Consul General of the U.S. Consulate in Vladivostok.
