Media Literacy Fellow Joseph Crescente welcomes columnist and editor Michele A. Berdy of The Moscow Times  to this edition of the Media Literacy Discussion Club. Berdy has been an interpreter, reporter, television producer, communications specialist, and writer in Moscow since the Soviet period and is the author of “The Russian Word’s Worth: A Humorous and Informative Guide to Russian Language, Culture, and Translation” (2011). In conversation with Crescente, she will recount some of her experiences and discuss what it’s like to work in the media. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end. As always, no previous knowledge is necessary, just a desire to learn more!
