This is the first lecture in a series looking closer at the United States Congress, its history and the role is has played in the history of the United States. This first lecture will look at the creation of the United States Congress from the passage of the U.S. Constitution.

Led by Dr. Erik Olsen, a Dutch-American Historian. Born in New York, he works for the Universiteit van Amsterdam as a Researcher. His current project is about the evolution of regulatory legislation following Watergate.
