Are you 8-18 years old? Do you like Minecraft? Have an interest in agriculture, sustainability, and learning about how to care for the environment? Join the Russian team to compete in global Farmcraft 2021 challenge!

What is Farmcraft?

Farmcraft™ 2021 is a free science-based team challenge for students to successfully create farms and grow foods in Minecraft! Teams of students around the world will be competing to adapt to farming techniques in different Minecraft Biomes and get rewarded with prizes and certificates.   The challenge and the world of Farmcraft are created by the North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF).

How can I take part?

To join the Russian team, register by March 29 by filling out the form below. Participation is free and open to young people of 8-18 years old. The game is played in English (you can use the in-game Immersive Reader to read and translate texts in the game), and live Farmcraft Zoom events are in English.

What’s the program of the competition?

• The registration for the Russian team is open until March 29, the competition runs March 31, 2021 — May 7, 2021
• Participants are put into teams of 4 based on their age (8-12 years old & 13-18 years old)
• Teams learn about the rules of Farmcraft and get help with building their farms in regular Zoom meetings
• Teams compete against each other solving challenges in different virtual Farmcraft biomes
• In virtual labs participants meet farmers, scientists, and technology professionals and learn how to use technology to deal with problems in their biomes
• Teams that create the best biomes (sustainable and with the biggest harvest) are announced as winners on May 19 and get awarded prizes and certificates
