As part of disabilities awareness campaign held by the U.S. Embassy in Moscow during the month of April, the American Center hosts a special virtual screening of the film "All for One" directed by Jon Alpert.
People with disabilities are the largest minority in the United States and in Russia, with 61 million Americans and 13 million Russians living with a disability. Still, disabled people continue to be underrepresented or stereotyped in media.
The documentary film All For One: Media Enabled Musketeers put cameras directly in the hands of people with disabilities in both Russia and the United States, letting them tell their own stories.
You’re invited to watch the film documenting their extraordinary stories in a virtual screening and discussion with the filmmakers and participants on Thursday, April 8 at 6:00-7:30 pm Moscow time on the US Embassy and American Center in Moscow Facebook pages.
