The American Centers weekly English Conversation Club welcomes everyone who wants to practice their English and communication skills to join a Zoom session on November 1 at 5:00 pm MSK!
We are having discussions on different topics, such as arts and culture, business and intercultural communication, sports and health. You will have an opportunity to express your opinion using your creativity and knowledge and to practice building arguments to feel confident in every conversation. Dont miss your chance to upgrade your English conversation skills, make new connections, and get inspired by intersting discussions.
Our topic for the discussion on November 1 is "Native Americans: their history, culture, and heritage". November is National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. According to the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, in 2020 there were 574 federally recognized Indian Tribes or Nations in the United States. This month in the US is a time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native American people. It is also a time to acknowledge the important contributions they have made to the United States.
This session is hosted on Zoom, so if you are interested in joining, please create a Zoom account beforehand. When registering below, please submit your valid email address to receive a link to the Zoom meeting 30 minutes before the session begins.
