The American Center’s weekly English Conversation Club welcomes everyone who wants to practice their English and communication skills to join a Zoom session on November 22 at 6:00 pm MSK! 

We are having discussions on different topics, such as arts and culture, business and intercultural communication, sports and health. You will have an opportunity to express your opinion using your creativity and knowledge and to practice building arguments to feel confident in every conversation. Don’t miss your chance to upgrade your English conversation skills, make new connections, and get inspired by intersting discussions. 

Our topic for the discussion on November 22 is "Thanksgiving". Observed by Americans on the fourth Thursday in November, this year on November 25, Thanksgiving celebrates life’s bounty. Americans traditionally mark it by gathering for a meal of turkey, vegetables, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Many also cook meals at soup kitchens, donate or collect food for pantries that feed the poor, and distribute other basic supplies to those in need.
