The American Centers weekly English Conversation Club welcomes everyone who wants to practice their English and communication skills to join a Zoom session on December 6 at 5:00 pm MSK!
We are having discussions on different topics, such as arts and culture, business and intercultural communication, sports and health. You will have an opportunity to express your opinion using your creativity and knowledge and to practice building arguments to feel confident in every conversation. Dont miss your chance to upgrade your English conversation skills, make new connections, and get inspired by intersting discussions.
Our topic for the discussion on December 6 is "Computer Science". The second week of December traditionally marks Computer Science Education Week. It is dedicated to inspiring children from early ages upwards to learn computer science. Its purpose is to promote fairness in computer science education and celebrate the contributions and achievements of students, teachers, and practitioners. This week is held in recognition of the birthday of Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906), who invented the first compiler and coined the term “bug” (an error in a program) after removing an actual moth from a computer in 1947.
This session is hosted on Zoom, so if you are interested in joining, please create a Zoom account beforehand. When registering below, please submit your valid email address to receive a link to the Zoom meeting 30 minutes before the session begins.
