We are excited to resume the American Centers virtual programs and invite you to join the third meeting of the interactive series: “Three, two, one… Done!” where you will learn how to make good decisions and get things done. These sessions will tell you about well-known personalities and their contributions to modern theories that shape decision-making process. Practical tips and exercises will give you hands-on experience on how to start developing and improving your decision-making skills.
The topic we discuss on January 20 at 6:00-7:00 PM MSK is "Overworker Work-life balance decisions".
Imposing limits on the amount of time spent at work dates back to manufacturing laws of the late 1800s when the work hours of women and children were restricted. The idea of work-life balance was put back to the forefront by the Womens Liberation Movement in the 1980s. Now, the idea has been cycling around for about 40 years bringing new insights and highlights to the problem. In this session of the "Three, two, one Done!" program, we will look at a brief history of the concept of work-life balance, as well as current trends and challenges associated with managing a good balance between life and work.
Led by Inna Starikova, AMC Volunteer, professional business trainer with over 20 years of experience.
