Join us for the special documentary screening in the series SHORT DOCS, short documentaries about topics focused on cultural history and current trends.
The iPhone: learn about the history of the world-changing electronic device, on the 15th anniversary of its introduction.
The film will be followed by a discussion led by Dave Burstein, a diplomat with the U.S. State Department since 2012.
Dave has worked at the U.S. embassies in Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan, and also in Washington, DC. Before becoming a diplomat, Dave served in the army and also worked as an attorney. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Dave’s hobbies include skiing, reading, and playing music. He arrived in Moscow last summer and has really enjoyed exploring the city, especially the parks and museums.
