The Native people of North America have inhabited the continent for millennia and are ethnically homogenous. However, their differences and distinct ways of life and cultural expression have been shaped by the geography of the continent.
In this presentation, we’ll explore the cultural and religious objects of great significance from different tribes and regions and explore how the environment influenced their creation and development.
The presentation is led by Ekaterina Kupidonova, Fulbright alumna, Edmund Muskie Fellowship alumna, who holds an MA degree in Ethnic studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Specialist degree in English from the Kazan Federal University.
