Coherence and Cohesion these two scary words are an indispensable part of any essay. But what exactly are those two? Are they a matter of opinion? How can you ensure coherence or notice lack thereof? How can you ensure variety? Is cohesion different at different levels?
In the Teacher2Teacher workshop on January 31, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. MSK, we will explore these questions and even try out some cohesive devices.
Facilitated by: Irina Lutsenko, a dynamic English teacher with 18 years of experience, IELTS 9, CPE A, and Fulbright FLTA under her belt. Irinas passion is writing she writes and inspires students to follow suit. On her mission to empower as many people to write as possible, she talks about this much-feared skill every chance she gets, including ELT conferences and this AMC Teacher2Teacher series.
