This twelve-session seminar will teach students and young adults how to use digital tools to boost their personal brands, create an authentic, trustworthy voice, and to post fact-based content online. Participants will learn how to tell fact from fiction, unbiased news reporting from opinion, and actual people from bots and trolls. They’ll also learn how AI is making it easier for bad actors to amplify their messages and what they can do to minimize its negative impact. Participants will come away with techniques on how to build their brands online, reach more subscribers, and become media literate social influencers.
