"Third Industrial Revolution, or how personal digital manufacturing will change our lives" — lecture by Vladimir Kuznetsov, the founder and director of the laboratory of digital manufacturing FabLab.
Fed up with mass consumption goods, we start to miss personal, customized products. The Third Industrial Revolution will present a shift from mass production back to personal manufacturing, only with a new twist – digital dimension. The lecture will explain the notions of digital manufacturing, "home-made" 3D-printing, fabrication laboratory and how these concepts will change our everyday life.
The speaker, Vladimir Kuznetsov, is the founder and director of the laboratory of digital manufacturing FabLab – a joint project of the National Research Technological University "MISIS" and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The lecture will be in Russian.
