This year’s “Great American Solar Eclipse,” was the longest totality on land for over a decade, which is part of the reason why eclipse-chasers from around the world flocked to the path of totality.

About the Presenter
From giving talks to her university astronomy club as an undergraduate student to giving award winning conference presentations about her graduate research in paleontology, Amelia Lindsay-Kaufman has always been passionate about scientific communication. She is excited to share what she has learned about the 2024 eclipse with the American Center in Moscow!
Lindsay-Kaufman has a bachelors degree in Russian studies and a masters degree in geological science. She has previously worked at Concordia Language Villages in the Russian language village, where she led STEM activities for middle- and high school students. She currently does communications for the education nonprofit Community Bridges in Silver Spring, MD.
