3-hour long workshop for children on 3D modeling and printing.
American Center Makerspace is pleased to announce an Intensive 3D Printing Workshop for teens with our experienced tech friends from FabLab Moscow. This workshop will be held on Friday, February 5th, at 4 p.m. The 3-hour long program will shed light on 3D printing and computer-aided design. You will learn the facets of designing an object, modelling with 123D Design, preparing the file for print, and finally, 3D printing.
By the end of the workshop, each of you will have created your own model of a small 3-dimensional object which will then be 3D printed and ready for you to collect from our Makerspace.
This class is for children 10-14 years old, both novices and those more experienced with technology. We will be glad to learn a thing or two about your interests and why you wish to participate in the workshop. The workshop will be conducted in English. (Please note that places are limited.)
Children under 14 years old do not require a document to enter the Embassy. Parents who wish to accompany their child should register separately and have passports with them.
