Join us this fall to improve your English and discover inspiring Americans you may not know!
Practice grammar and vocabulary in a fun, interactive course with an American teacher! This course will focus on famous American people who are beloved in the U.S. but not as well known in other countries.
Who: Adult English language learners (A2–B2 level)
What: Online English classes twice a week, for 8 weeks
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6-7 PM Moscow time, September 2 – October 23
Where: Wherever you are (via Zoom)
Why: This course will be a fun and interactive way to practice English grammar and vocabulary with an American teacher, using American culture content. Additionally, you will become familiar with the free English language learning materials from Molodets for additional self-study.
About the teacher:
Katie Callahan Neginskiy has been teaching English for 15 years. She is from rural North Carolina in the U.S. and has a Master’s degree in education. Though American, her husband is from Minsk, and she speaks intermediate Russian. Katie loves teaching about American culture and creating a fun, colorful classroom environment.
Earn an e-certificate from the Regional English Language Office!
To qualify for an e-certificate, you need to attend at least 14 out of 16 Zoom sessions.
*This course is the second of three. It is not required to participate in all three, but you may. The courses will cover different grammar and vocabulary, as well as different American culture content. The third course will take place on October 28 – December 18. Learn more about the course here.
