A weekly club to help participants read English more slowly and thereby paying closer attention to language nuances and meanings.
This week we will be reading and discussing two poems: “A-Sitting On The Gate" and “Resolution and Independence” by William Wordsworth, which Carroll's poem parodies. Join us for a great discussion!
This club meets weekly and aims to help practice reading more effectively in English. In our fast-paced world where we are quickly skimming through news, texts and books, we often don’t spend time reading them fully. In these meetings we use poems and short stories to focus on logical and creative thinking.
