We are pleased to announce a series of lectures devoted to American Presidents and their legacies. What makes a leader? How did American Presidents inspire the nation? What constitutes a presidential legacy? Join our American Presidents Lectures and you will find out. These lectures are open to everyone who wants to know more about American Presidents and the ways their biographies can inform the decisions of today.
This months lecture is dedicated to Dwight David Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States (1953 1961). Eisenhower went a long way from Abilene, Kansas to becoming General of the Army because of his hard work and World War II successes. An outsider in politics, he quickly gained support among the American people in 1952, when he was elected President of the US. Can eight years of President Eisenhower be described as the Fabulous Fifties? Join Eisenhower Lecture and you will find out.
Led by Dmitry Tsvetkov, AMC Volunteer, literary agent and writer.
