We are pleased to announce a series of lectures devoted to American Presidents and their legacies. What makes a leader? How did American Presidents inspire the nation? What constitutes a presidential legacy? Join our American Presidents Lectures and you will find out. These lectures are open to everyone who wants to know more about American Presidents and the ways their biographies can inform the decisions of today.

This month’s lecture is dedicated to the 30th President of the United States. John Calvin Coolidge Jr., a.k.a. "Silent Cal," started as a lawyer, then became an activist in the Republican Party, and became famous nationwide as Governor of Massachusetts (1919 — 1921). These events lead Coolidge to become a Vice President of the United States in 1921 and, due to the death of Warren G. Harding, President in 1923. President Coolidge (1923 — 1929) cut taxes and made government smaller, which made him a unique statesman.

Led by Dmitry Tsvetkov, AMC Volunteer, literary agent and writer.
