During the workshop today you will: Try innovative assistive technology developed by Dr. Kupferman, including virtual reality, robotics, augmentative communication, social supports, etc. Learn about how assistive technology can increase successful academic and social outcomes for students with disabilities within inclusive classrooms. Understand how to bridge the assistive technology gap between people with disabilities, including funding differences, rural location factors, and expanding the technology capacity of NGOs.
